现任中华医学会超声医学分会副主任委员,带领团队跻身全国专科排名第十。建成浙江省脉冲电场技术医学转化重点实验室。首次开展纳秒脉冲肿瘤消融系统用于肝癌消融治疗的前瞻性、多中心的有效性和安全性临床试验,促进脉冲电场的医学转化。近五年主持国家重大科研仪器研制项目1项,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项,主持浙江省自然科学基金重点项目1项,参与国家级及省部级课题多项,获省级奖励1项,现已发表学术论文240余篇,其中一作或通讯作者SCI论文90篇,主编专著4部,培养研究生81名。
擅长各种介入性超声诊治,在国内较早开展肝脏超声造影、肝癌消融治疗、影像融合虚拟导航技术、不可逆电穿孔消融技术和超声内镜下诊治技术等,对肝癌困难病例的消融治疗积累了丰富的临床经验。
