2005年毕业于华中科技大学获内科学博士学位。现任华中科技大学同济医学院附属协和医院感染科副主任、主任医师、教授、硕士生导师。任湖北省医学会感染病学分会委员，武汉医学会肝病学分会副主任委员。曾任中华医学会感染病学分会青年委员、湖北省医学会肝病学分会委员。长期从事感染性疾病的临床、教学和科研工作，在病毒性肝炎肝硬化肝衰竭等肝脏疾病、发热伴血小板减少综合征等传染性疾病、不明原因发热等方面积累了较丰富的经验。

主要研究方向为乙肝及新发突发传染病动物模型的建立及免疫发病机制。主持国家科技支撑计划课题、中德跨学科重大科技合作项目子课题、十三五传染病国家科技重大专项课题任务、国家自然科学基金青年项目各1项，研究经费600余万元。发表SCI论文60余篇，其中在J Hepatol.、mBio等杂志发表第一作者或通讯作者SCI论文10余篇。获湖北省科技进步一等奖（排名第二）。
