To explore the effects of PSE on hemodynamic in LCPH. 24 patients with LCPH were treated by PSE. The hemodynamic changes of patients with LCPH were evaliuated with color Doppler ultrasonography. And the changes of main clinical features which related to LCPH were investigate. The hemodynamic indexs of LCPH were all decreased significantly ( P <0 01) after PSE. But the difference was not statistically significant ( P >0 05) between four and two weeks after PSE. But the main symptoms and signs of LCPH were improved after PSE. PSE plays an important role in hemodynamics of LCPH. Portal hypertension can be decreased effectively after PSE, and its clinical features were improved.
