Agreement on Copyright Transfer for Articles in Journal of Clinical Hepatology

Copyright owners of articles (referred to as authors for short) agree to submit this article (including abstracts in Chinese and English) to Journal of Clinical Hepatology (JCH) for publication in print edition and online and transfer part of the copyright to the Publishing Department of JCH. With reference to the statements in Instructions for Authors, related issues are confirmed as follows:

1. Authors guarantee that the article is original and all authors have substantial contributions to the article, with no disputes over the order of names. This article does not involve leakage of secrets, repeated submission, or plagiarism, or contain the contents that violate laws and regulations and infringe others’ rights and interests. If infringement of rights or leakage of secrets occurs, authors should take full responsibilities.

2. The main part of the article is not uploaded to the Internet as an electronic document.

3. Authors agree to transfer the compilation (part or all of the article) and distribution rights of the article and the rights of reproduction, online communication, and publication of its printed and electronic editions (including On-line First) to the Publishing Department of JCH.

4. The Editorial Office allows authors to use this article in the following situations: (1) application for patents; (2) academic reports and lectures; (3) non-commercial academic exchange; (4) other activities allowed and authorized by the Editorial Office.

5. It is agreed that after the publishing of the printed and electronic editions of this article in JCH, authors should pay the publication fee. If this article is published in other forms, there is no need to pay any fees.

6. As for other issues not mentioned in this agreement, both parties should negotiate and settle in case of disputes; if the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it should be resolved according to the Copyright Law of the People’s Republic of China and related laws and regulations.

7. The transfer issues defined in this agreement are binding to all authors.

8. Authors are considered to know and agree to the above terms and conditions when they submit the article to this journal.
